Our spark arresters are crafstman-man made by hand using the traditional methods. Made from GCQ steel wire, hand bound (not welded like the inferior types) and then hot-dip galvanised for long life, robustness and resistance to corrosion. They are available to fit sizes from 6" scale miniatures (½ full size) up to full size road locomotives, ploughing engines and showman's engines. You can choose either the simple hemispherical type or the full globe pattern. Note that all arrester sizes are measured as inside diameter of your chimney top. If you go between standard sizes, price is for the next size up, but please contact the manufacturer with the exact size (nearest 1/8" below)
